Ki Aikido Classes
Adults
Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30pm.
Class fees are £11.00 per class (or £40 per month for payment in advance by monthly standing order).
Martial arts insurance costs £10.00 per year.
Beginners are always welcome to attend the regular adults’ class. This way there will be more experienced members ready to assist you and support you.
Children
Thursday evenings (school term time only)
From 5 years old:
5:25pm-6:15pm
From 11 years old or by invitation:
6:20pm-7:15pm
Class fees are £4.00 per class for one child or £3.50 each sibling paid half termly. Siblings do not need to attend the same class to receive the discounted rate. Free trial first night then pay as you go for the first half term before committing to a full half term. Missed classes cannot be refunded but if your child gives up or will not be able to attend for an extended period a refund of the remaining portion of the term may be made.
Sometimes the Children’s class is oversubscribed, so please email the Instructor directly to check availability or call/message on 07974 946541.
INFORMATION FOR BEGINNERS
Beginners are welcome at any time. You do not need to wait for a fixed start date to join our classes.
You will receive help and guidance throughout your first class.
Please wear loose clothing, such as a tee shirt and track suit bottoms if you have them. If you have studied another martial art you can train in your “gi” for Ki Aikido classes (but please wear a white belt).
If you have special needs due to disability please discuss these with the Instructor. We will do everything we can to accommodate you.
As very occasionally the school where we hold our classes is unable to hire the room to us (e.g. if there is a parents’ evening) it is always best to email us or phone on 023 8057 8657 to make sure the class is on the evening you intend to first come along.
